I was just reading The Word of God and felt the NEED to share some insight that I gained that I haven't really came across before when it comes to how many people Jesus healed.
I've heard countless dialogue being done that made mention of the specific healings that were performed in The Bible.
However, you HAVE to CHECK THIS OUT (Matthew 4:23-25):
23 Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. 24 News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all. 25 Large crowds followed him wherever he went—people from Galilee, the Ten Towns, Jerusalem, from all over Judea, and from east of the Jordan River.

I found myself wanting to know how big Galilee was at the time and wanted to gain additional insight as to how many people Jesus could have healed.
Here is a photo of how BIG Galilee was at the time:
At the time, the population of Galilee was between 2 and 3 million!!!
And in Scripture it states that he healed “EVERY kind of disease and illness”
And if that isn't already INCREDIBLE, it goes on to state that Syria began to hear of Him and they started bringing people too!!!
I just think there has been a lot of conversation that have been focusing on the specific mentions in Scripture of the healings performed by Jesus, but not enough dialogue pertaining to this section; where he likely healed MILLIONS!
(and we can NOT fail to mention the MILLIONS more that have been Healed throughout History, that are being Healed in the present day, and that WILL Be Healed in upcoming GENERATIONS!)
God's Word Is POWERFUL y'all!
I came across an amazing perspective the other day:
When it comes God's Armor (Ephesians 6:10-18)… the ONLY offensive WEAPON we are given to HELP Us FIGHT evil is: “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
Truthfully: it shows Us what We ARE up against and how much armor is given to Us in order to be able to withstand it.
And with that much armor being needed to protect Us; in turn: being equipped with The Word of God, We ARE Able to FIGHT back!
The Old Testament has NUMEROUS prophecies that WERE fulfilled through Jesus and His ministry, HOW could ANYONE actually TRY to DENY that Jesus IS King!?
(I'm going to HAVE to follow up on this post… I have SO much MORE I want and NEED to discuss regarding this!!!
