THANK YOU God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit for your UNRELENTING presence in my life!
NO MATTER the trial or tribulation my Faith will NEVER waiver!
BOTTOM LINE: I'm TRULY blessed and I REFUSE to take it for granted
I had a GREAT conversation with my dad today…
We were discussing how people likely do not intend to willfully deny Jesus.
I pointed out that A LOT of it has to do with how we are literally in a tug of war between God and THE CLOWN for our Souls.
EVERY day and ALL day we are met with choices to make… and as I've said in one of songs ("For The Kingdom"): “If it ain't towards God then which way you REALLY movin!?”
It is “WELL” known that we live in a physical world, but true reality is played in the Spiritual realm…
In that moment, I came up with the realization that The Holy Spirit that lives within us at times gets “dehydrated”
It's longing for and thirsting for interactions/conversations/moments that will nourish it and help it grow, prosper, and be FILLED with delight
ABOUT THE ALBUM
IF I was a PUPPET, what I'm about to say would likely be met with backlash from a so called “team” that is commonly put in place to “help” an artist
(LUCKILY my team consists of God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit! HAHA… aka I do what I “want” in this BS physical world)
TRUTH be told: I've been sittin on these songs for FAR too long…
(My Soul has been longing to drop these)
I even released some of these at some point…
Idk… in case you haven't realized: I tend to do things A LITTLE unconventional (LOL)
Today… on this GLORIOUS day, it just felt RIGHT!
Even MORE TRUTH be told: This was actually supposed to be Vol.2
BUT! The Holy Spirit was MOVIN in me and I went another direction essentially out of NOWHERE and a new Vol. 2 came to life…
I'm “guessing” it was ALL for a REASON? Isn't literally EVERYTHING in life!? (the answer is YES by the way)
AS ALWAYS…
I got A LOT going on…
I have constant back and forth emotions and thoughts about where this music “thing” is all going for me
In order to provide for the fam, I'm going back into the Matrix lol (“The Fam GOTTA eat!”)
I'm ALWAYS trying to make moves in order for the betterment of my family so I've been puttin in WORK mentally, emotionally, and Spiritually
Ideally: I'd LOVE nothing more than to make music as a career and still hope, pray, TRUST, and have Faith that one day I ultimately will…
But at the same time, EVERYTHING happens on God's timeline.
I still have quite a bit of work to do and this is a GREAT opportunity on a bunch of different levels so instead of putting my head down and feeling some type of way about why “IT” has happened yet or whatever other BS the flesh wants to try to highlight: I'm going to lift my chin up, put on my boots, and live with my life humbly, modestly, and with humility.
Just simply TRY to do the right thing day in and day out; for God, Family, Country, and this Universe (and beyond)
